Rosamond Rhodes’ paper in AJOB on research ethics was selected by ISI, the gods of “what is the most influential in the scientific literature,” as a “New Hot Paper.” It sounds like a silly honor, and they certainly could have named the distinction better, but it is a very prestigious award for her and we at the Journal are thrilled for her. And of course when our authors’ papers have a big impact in an issue this significant (unless you are asleep, you realize that research ethics could not be a bigger issue right now…) it means the Journal is doing its job. Plus she’s great.
