In my earlier posts about the Choosing Wisely campaign I noted the difficulty of using CW’s information when one is actually in the doctor’s office.  I wondered if one should arrive at the appointment with all the relevant CW lists printed out beforehand, and if that would make one look weird, or like a “problem patient.”  CW has just announced a new app, on which one can find useful information in the moment, while one is in the office. There’s a special section on “Do I Need this Test?”  I’ll be interested to see how well this works.  For more info, go to ChosingWisely.org
