VA Reg Denies Dying Vets a Peaceful Death

In the wake of California‚Äôs enactment of the End of Life Options Act, the California Department of Veterans Affairs adopted a regulation that mandates discharge of Veterans Homes residents who choose aid in dying.

Kathryn L. Tucker, the Executive Director, End of Life Liberty Project, discusses how this regulation unjustifiably denies terminally ill veterans of a peaceful death.
