Appellate Briefing in Constitutional Challenge to Texas Advance Directives Act

The appellate briefing in Kelly v. Houston Methodist Hospital has begun. 

This case challenges the constitutionality of the dispute resolution provisions in the Texas Advance Directives Act. Last year, the trial court dismissed the action, because the patient had already died.
