"Simon’s Law" and Parental Rights

As I have discussed, while only Kansas enacted Simon’s Law in 2017, a growing number of other states have considered Simon’s Law bills. These laws prohibit clinicians from writing a DNR order or stopping life-sustaining treatment for a minor without parental consent.

In Bobby Schindler’s new podcast series “Bioethics Report,” he discusses the new law with sponsor Sheryl Crosier at this week’s National Right to Life Convention.
