The Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) will host the 2008 BIO International Convention entitled Heal, Fuel, Feed the World.

Biotechnology innovations can help solve many of todays most pressing global issues, including fighting disease and improving health, feeding a growing world population and meeting the increased world demand for energy. Through innovation, we can meet these needs in environmentally responsible and sustainable ways.
Heal, Fuel, Feed the World will bring together experts, innovators and interested observers from around the world to discuss, educate and collaborate on strategies to address these global issues.
More than 20,000 attendees from 70 countries are expected to attend this years convention, the industrys largest. It includes 175 individual sessions, a host of world-renowned experts and a keynote by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
