Respecting Community, Reflecting Community

Saturday, March 2, 2013

San Ramon, CA

The Department of Medical Ethics serving KP Northern California invites you to attend its twenty-second annual Symposium. This year’s theme takes shape around both the idea and the ideal of “community” as important influences on — and reflections of — our moral lives as individuals.

The format of our day-long symposium involves both large-group plenary sessions and small-group workshops. Registration is open to anyone interested in healthcare ethics, and is not limited to KP employees.  Our conference aims to foster moral community and collegiality, and to promote understanding of clinical ethics in the service of humane patient care and quality outcomes.

Please join us. We look forward to sharing the day with you!
