91-year-old Arline Lester is being treated at New York’s Mount Sinai Medical Center, where she is dependent on a ventilator and feeding tube. Her two sons disagree on the right treatment plan.

Son Kyle Lester, wants his mother removed from all life-saving machines in accordance with her 1991 advance directive.

But son Edward Lester said his mother wrote on November 13, 2019 that she wanted to revoke her advance directive and that she wanted to live.

In court papers, Kyle accuses Edward of keeping their mom alive against her will so he can stay in her Long Beach home and “plunder” her assets, including the total $5,400 she collects every month from Social Security and her public-school pension

The case is pending in Nassau County Supreme Court.
