The Division of Medical Ethics  programs require the manager to plan, implement, maintain, and evaluate all components of the programs to ensure their long-term success. Manage all day-to-day activities, including managing project files and databases, stakeholder priorities, project activities, meeting preparation and participation. Determine project goals, plan schedule of deadlines, assign tasks, and develop action plan and processes from inception to evaluation. Prepare or participate in the preparation of abstracts, research reports, funding proposals, operations and procedure manuals, and other written material and documentation as required. Build relationships across residencies, fellowships and clinical programs within Northwell Health, The Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine and the Hofstra-Northwell School of Nursing & PA studies

o Facilitate curriculum development o Manage multiple iterations of the program curriculum o Manage the deployment  of clinical ethicists across all programs o Serve as principal point of contact for Division of Medical Ethics Director and Attending faculty o Coordinate the scheduling of educational sessions with the School of Medicine, School of Nursing residency program directors, chief residents, and program coordinators o Assist with the development of qualitative and quantitative program assessment tools, collect and analyze program assessment data and feedback o Disseminate programmatic work through papers and presentations: o Assist with the development of ethics-related hospital policies and procedures o Manage various components of the clinical ethics consultation service, including the consult database, call schedule, meetings, and reports o Facilitate ethics education opportunities, content creation, and implementation


  • Required: Bachelor degree in business, health, or education administration or in a related field and four years of relevant work experience; preferred master’s degree in business, health, or education administration, or related field. Required: Three years of relevant work experience. Expertise and experience in project management, medical education, and clinical service lines Technological proficiency with learning management system software, Blackboard LCMS, e-learning content creation. Outstanding interpersonal skills and communication skills required and must be able to work independently as well as demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team to meet deadlines Detail-oriented, strong organizational, efficiency, and prioritization skills Ability to display a positive attitude and high degree of flexibility. Ability to create an inclusive and equitable work environment
